owl lamp

I had fun at Renegade, but my favorite find of the weekend was probably this little charmer. We headed out to Covina on Saturday to buy an armoire for our dvds (isn't it great when Craigslist actually works out?), and the lady was having a yard sale as well. As soon as I saw this brass owl lamp, I knew I had to have it--especially at the bargain price of $5.00.

We'll have to find a little shade for his head, but he already looks quite at home perched on top of our old Singer cabinet. The best things you find for your home, I think, are the ones that look as if they've always been there.
