really big craft store map: update

I checked back in on the Really Big Map of Indie Craft Stores project recently, in which I invited everyone to help create a giant craft store resource...and it's so great that people have been adding to the map!

There are stores listed all over the United States, and in Europe as well. I hope people will continue to add their favorite local independent stores that supply craft materials or sell handmade items. With the holidays coming up, it's an important reminder to support small businesses and artisans where you can.

On a side note, all the Google Maps features are pretty nifty. You could, in theory, map out a route from one end of the country to the other with stops at all the craft stores along the way. Sounds like a great idea for a documentary to me, HGTV.
